This World Heart Day, we are telling the world:

Don't miss a beat

The theme for world Heart Day 2025 is Don't Miss a Beat. Loved ones around the world are missing out on time they should still have to spend together due to early deaths from CVD. Which is why, this 29 September, we will tell the world: Don't Miss a Beat.

Each year, cardiovascular disease (CVD) claims over 20.5 million lives.

Up to 80% of premature CVD deaths are preventable through affordable access to care, early screening, and more opportunities to make healthy choices in nutrition and stay active.

That's why on World Heart Day, we unite across six continents to raise awareness, inspire action, and celebrate heart health.

One in five people will die early from cardiovascular disease (CVD), which claims more lives than cancer and chronic respiratory diseases combined. Yet, up to 80% of heart disease and stroke cases are preventable.

That’s why, every 29 September, we celebrate World Heart Day to raise awareness of CVD and the importance of taking care of your heart. From individuals, families and schools to community groups and governments, we work together to make equitable heart health a priority and drive change across the globe.

2025 marks the 25th anniversary of World Heart Day, and our mission remains as crucial as ever.
